We respect your data

We won’t collect any personally identifiable information without first acquiring your consent to do so. Where we do wish to collect information, we will be explicit in detailing the way your information will be used so you can decide if you are happy for us to do so. We will never supply any of your details to anyone else to use for any other reason.

Visitors to our website

When someone visits the Bristol Harbour Festival website we use a third party service, Squarespace to collect standard internet log information. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to various parts of our website. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Squarespace to make any attempt to find out the identities of the people visiting our website without your consent.

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual and we will not collect personal information in this way. This data enables us:

  • To recognise you when you return to our site.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EVALUATION COMPETITION IN HARBOUR FESTIVAL PROGRAMME

Bristol Harbour Festival 2022 customer feedback competition terms and conditions

The promoter is: Bristol Harbour Festival part of Bristol City Council.

The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.

There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

Closing date for entry will be midnight on 24/07/2022. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: Go to https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NDCXLTY to complete the customer feedback form for the Bristol Harbour Festival 2022. Entries may also be made during the Bristol Harbour Festival 2022 via our face-to-face surveys conducted by our survey team. Entries are valid only if they include an email address.

The prize is as follows: a £100 Better Food voucher. The vouchers will be posted to the winner and will require a signature on receipt. Details of stores where the voucher can be spent can be found at https://betterfood.co.uk/stores/

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received.

The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by [English] law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [England].

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

The promoter shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
