The Island Folk Choir is Bristol’s longest-running community folk choir. They sing traditional songs inspired by nature, the land and social justice – from protest songs and lovers' laments to foot-stomping sea shanties. They embrace hope, despair, grief and love in their practice and performances – retelling tales from the past to find comfort and connection in the present.
