Lildonia Lawrence is a writer, wellbeing coach, and dance artist whose work flows at the intersection of creativity, healing, and social justice. She is the author of Back Yourself: A Wellbeing Guide to Healing from Racial Trauma, and her writing blends personal narrative, cultural reflection, and poetic elements to explore themes of identity, belonging, and resilience.
Her creative mediums include non-fiction, journaling, and poetry, which she uses to process emotions, untangle societal issues, and clear the debris of everyday life.
Alongside her writing, Lildonia teaches dance and yoga, drawing on Afro-Caribbean and African diasporic forms to celebrate the body as a site of resistance and renewal. She is currently completing a PhD at Coventry University, researching Caribbean dance as a form of resistance.
At the heart of all her work is a deep belief in the transformative power of creativity - whether on the page, in the body, or in the wider collective.
