Jude Whitburn - Handbalance Ballet

Dancer and acrobat Jude Whitburn presents a powerful fusion of circus and classical ballet to a rock soundtrackJude started dancing at the age of 3 and from the age of 9 went on to professional training attending the Birmingham Royal Ballet, Legat School of Ballet and completing a Degree in Theatre Dance at London Studio Centre.Soon after her dance training, Jude turned to Circus training, specialising in Aerial Arts and Acrobatics. She now tours with various International Circus companies such as Incandescence Circus, Tumbellina International, Arcadia and Acrobatic Productions and has performed at The Royal Albert Hall and The Brit Awards alongside Hugh Jackman.Jude has been teaching Ballet, Contemporary Dance and Yoga in Bristol for well over 10 years. She focuses on building a safe space for dance in an attempt to steer away from the stereotypical idea of Ballet with the aim to make it more accessible and hopefully, more fun.
