Hula Hoop workshop

Grab a hoop and join our hula hoop workshop, led live from the stage by one of Circomedia’s superstar performers and expert tutors. Hoops will be provided, and everyone is invited to take part – whether you're a complete beginner or already have a few tricks up your sleeve.

Learn the basics of spinning, twirling and keeping the hoop in motion, then challenge yourself with playful circus-inspired moves and techniques. As a crowd of hoops move together, the workshop becomes a show in itself, creating a joyful shared experience for participants and spectators alike.

While the modern hula hoop became globally popular in the twentieth century, hoop play and hoop-based movement traditions have existed in many cultures around the world for generations. This workshop celebrates the creativity, playfulness and sense of connection that make hooping such an enduring activity.
