Horizon Dance Company

Based in central Bristol, Horizon Dance Company was founded in 2019 with the aim to inspire and uplift through the art of Irish dance, building a strong community based on shared passion, respect, and excellence. We offer weekly classes in Irish dancing to adults of all abilities, including complete beginners, with a focus on creating a supportive environment for adult Irish dancers to connect and grow. At Bristol Harbour Festival 2026, we are thrilled to showcase a diverse range of pieces from across our vibrant community. This includes a feature performance from our Aurora performance team—a dedicated group of experienced dancers presenting the best of precision, rhythm, and power in Irish Dance.

Audiences can expect the intricate footwork of traditional Irish dancing, infused with a contemporary twist. Set to lively, foot-tapping music, our Irish Dancers will perform exciting choreography to uplift and inspire, imparting our passion and enthusiasm for this beautiful art form. As part of our performance, we will also be inviting the audience to get moving with a fun, interactive participation segment where festival-goers of all ages and abilities can join our dancers to learn a few moves!
