Gnawa Blues All Stars

Gnawa Blues Allstars continuously push boundaries, fusing Gnawa with music from countries such as Gambia, Burkina Faso, Senegal, Guinea, Mali, India and the Caribbean.

Led by master musician Simo Lagnawi, the group blends the hypnotic rhythms and spiritual power of traditional Moroccan Gnawa music with a rich tapestry of global sounds. At the heart of their performances is the guembri, a deep, three-stringed bass lute, paired with dynamic percussion, soulful vocals and infectious energy.

Gnawa Blues Allstars are known for their vibrant, improvisational live sets and regularly invite special guest musicians to join them on stage, adding fresh layers of collaboration and spontaneity to every show.

The result is a genre-defying celebration of rhythm and connection, an uplifting musical experience that transcends borders and brings people together through the universal language of sound.
