Bristol Waiters Race

Join us for the inaugural Bristol Waiters’ Race 2026, a brand new charity event taking place as part of the Bristol Harbour Festival Family Zone.Open to businesses, students and residents from across the city, this fun and fast paced challenge will see teams compete in a series of relay style races while balancing trays loaded with iconic Bristol favourites, including cider, coffee and cheddar cheese. Expect plenty of laughs, friendly rivalry and crowd support as competitors race against the clock to reach the finish line.Organised by the Bristol Hoteliers Association in partnership with Bristol BID, the event welcomes participants from all sectors and backgrounds. Whether you work in hospitality, retail, finance, law, education or are a student looking for a unique team challenge, everyone is invited to get involved.All proceeds from team entry fees will be donated to The Grand Appeal, the official charity for Bristol Children’s Hospital, helping support sick children and their families across the South West.Each participant will receive a branded apron, and teams are encouraged to embrace the occasion with fancy dress, themed uniforms or creative costumes, with a prize awarded for the Best Dressed Team.Gather your team, represent your organisation and take on Bristol’s most entertaining race.
