BUS SERVICES AND ROAD CLOSURES
During the Harbour Festival weekend there will be extra bus services on some routes and and due to road closures some routes will be altered. See here for full details.
Park and ride
Bristol is well served by park and ride buses from the Portway, Brislington, Long Ashton and Lyde Green. You can find more information about these services here.
During the Harbour Festival, Bristol’s Park and Rides (Brislington, Long Ashton and Portway) will be operating extended hours on Friday and Saturday. Please check with First Bus for the exact timetable and last journeys from the City Centre area.

First Great Western operate inter-city trains from London, Reading and Bath into Bristol. You can find out about their services here. Virgin Trains operate services between Bristol, the Midlands and The North and their times and prices can be found here.
First Great Western also operate the Severn Beach line will begins at Severn Beach and takes passengers from there to Temple Meads via St Andrews Road, Avonmouth, Shirehampton, Sea Mills, Clifton Down, Redland, Montpelier, Stapleton Road and Lawrence Hill. There will be dedicated cycle lock-up points, the main one being on The Grove (next to the Thekla). Please note that no security personnel will be situated in the designated area and bikes will be left at the owner’s risk. Please see the site map for details of all bike parking.
