The festival is based around Bristol’s Harbourside. Surfaces are a mix of hard standing, permanent roads (including cobbles), and grass in Queen Square. There are steps and kerbs see the map to the left for more details.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND THE HARBOUR FESTIVAL?

Nothing! The whole weekend is absolutely free.  You can help keep this brilliant event free by buying a programme, and getting your food and refreshments from an official bar or delicious food stall.

When and where is this year’s festival?

The 2018 Bristol Harbour Festival will take place on Friday 20th, Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd July and is based in the streets and squares around Bristol’s historic floating docks.

What are the opening hours of the festival?

The festival has an evening programme of music headlined by Jimmy Cliff starting at 6pm on the Amphitheatre Stage on Friday 20th July. On Saturday 21st the festival opens at 12noon and runs until 8pm, while on Sunday 22nd the festival opens at 12noon and runs until 6pm.#

TOILETS

Accessible toilets are located at every toilet block throughout the festival site.

What is the provision for lost/found children?

There are lost /found children points situated around the festival site. These are shown on the large information boards which are situated all around the harbourside.  If you have become separated from a member of your party, please notify a member of the event team (we’ll be in hi-vis jackets) who will contact our event control. If possible, leave a member of your party in the area where you last saw the person. It also helps if you write your mobile ‘phone number on your child’s hand using semi-permanent ink!

Can I bring my dog to the event?

Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control at all times, and please remember to clean up after them.

Where can I buy a programme?

You can buy the Harbour Festival programme at any of our official programme outlets dotted around the festival and various venues throughout the city.

If I bring my bicycle to the event, where can I park?

There are dedicated lock up points – the main one is in The Grove which is the road that runs parallel to the Thekla (please refer to the site map)  Please note that no security personnel will be situated in the designated area and bikes will be left at the owners’ risk.
