Sam started his solo career in Melbourne, Australia, busking in the day and working on the bar by night.
Moving back to England, he left the sleepy hills of Devon to attend university in the culturally and musically diverse city of Bristol.
It was here that Sam's career started to gain momentum with highlights being appearances at Glastonbury Festival, airtime on BBC 6 Music Radio and his Bristol EP launch.
Known for his profound and intriguing lyrics, Sam works around subjects including a fascination for the sea and of love lost and found. His beautiful lyrics combined with indie/folk style of guitar give his songs a pained yet charming quality.
