Presented by Colston Hall, Friday night at Bristol Harbour Festival sees Grammy Award-winning godfather of reggae Jimmy Cliff take to the stage. Described as the “original Jamaican rude boy” (Rolling Stone), the evening will see Jimmy performing hits like ‘Wonderful World, Beautiful People’, ‘Many Rivers to Cross’ and ‘Vietnam’ live on the amphitheatre stage. This will be an unforgettable performance by the man who brought reggae to the world.

Ever wanted to cut and scratch like your hip hop heroes? Music royalty Grandmaster Flash presents the first live, interactive block party experience. This amazing audio-visual performance will bring the history of hip hop to life - the places, people and moments that started it all. Try your hand at spinning tunes while Grandmaster Flash drops iconic breaks, live from the turntables.

For the last 14 years, Trojan Sound System have been an undeniable force on the UK ska, roots reggae, dub, dancehall and bass music scene. Representing the mighty Trojan Records, who celebrated their 50th birthday this year, the System’s talented team of selectors, vocalists and special guests will take the Harbour Festival by storm.
