The BIG recycling challenge
Every year we ask all festival-goers to reduce, reuse & recycle throughout their visit. Last year was a big success and we recycled 37% of the waste produced onsite. This year we want to do even better and we need your help to meet the recycling target of 40% of waste from this year’s Harbour Festival.
To help with the challenge, there will be an extensive recycling system onsite with separate bins for different materials. Look for the green recycle here signs across the site.
Please help by separating all recyclable materials such as glass, food, plastic or aluminium and place them in the colour coded recycling bins provided.
Don’t forget to look out for the compostable cutlery & plates and make sure they go in the food waste bins.
