Fireworks

An estimated 50,000 people watched the Saturday night firework show - one of the highlights of the festival.

Harbour Festival Fringe

The three fringe venues - Thekla, Louisiana and Grain Barge - had bands on throughout the weekend.

Rowan Matthiessen

Amphitheatre


Rowan is a freelance community development worker with a background in community and corporate events management, environment and sustainability.

She cares passionately about the communities that bind our city together and strives to work with people to reconnect with one another. Interested in sustainable urban lifestyles, Rowan has a lot of experience working with communities on environmental issues and places a strong emphasis on giving over space to let communities be creative for themselves.

Previous events include the Eco Zone at the 2008 Bristol Harbour Festival and the Celebration of Gloucester Road festival also in 2008.
