BBC at the
Harbour Festival

The BBC is once again a proud media partner of the Bristol Harbour Festival, undoubtedly one of the biggest and best weekends in Bristol's calendar.

This year BBC Bristol and Points West are joined by a huge interactive science show as the exciting new BBC One science magazine show Bang Goes The Theory goes on tour. Bang Goes The Theory brings the roadshow to Mud Dock on Saturday and Sunday, where you can watch free live science shows, get hands-on in the interactive area and catch Dr Yan Wong's amazing street science.

BBC Blast's mobile media village at Redcliffe Wharf has free creative workshops, masterclasses and showcases for 13 to 19-year-olds covering everything from animation and graffiti to filmmaking to VJing.

BBC Bristol will broadcast live for the majority of the Festival weekend from near Millennium Square. BBC Bristol presenters, including Graham Torrington, Steve Yabsley and Ben Prater, will be joined by Points West presenters including Alex Lovell, Amanda Parr, Will Glennon and Ali Vowles. Weather presenters Ian Fergusson and Jemma Cooper will be on-hand and watching out for sunny skies.
